About the newscast:
Welcome to Regina Coeli School's
web-based newscast. Our students use content from our school newspaper
and adapt it to be used as the subject matter for this online program.
The newscast is recorded and edited using Apple Computer's iMovie
software, compressed for online distribution with Quicktime Pro, and
served to you from an Apple Macintosh computer running MacOS X Server
and the industry standard web server, Apache. The files for this
program were compressed and distributed using highly acclaimed MPEG-4
technology. MPEG-4 is the very latest "state-of-the-art" video
technology and has been widely adopted as the world
standard for high quality streaming video. In order to view
this news program, you may need to download and install Apple Computer's
Quicktime 7 software. Compatible with both Windows® computers
and Macintosh®, Quicktime is a complete cross-platform solution
for internet video, audio, multimedia, and much more. The free Quicktime
player software can be downloaded at this location:

Once you have the Quicktime software installed, you can simply click
on one of the links below to view our newscast. The most recent
newscast will always be located at the top of the list, with the
oldest found toward the bottom. We hope you enjoy the efforts of

integration.
